Joining B.Des Interior Design at IMS DIA is clear and straightforward — here's what you need:
Interior design is not decoration — it is the architecture of human experience. The B.Des program at IMS DIA is built on 10 powerful pillars that shape designers who are technically excellent, culturally aware, globally informed and ethically grounded.
Each year builds purposefully on the last — from design foundations to professional transformation. NEP aligned with multiple exit options.
Every module is built around practical, industry-standard skills that architecture firms, design studios and real estate developers actually hire for.
Interior design graduates from IMS DIA work across India's most dynamic sectors — from luxury hospitality to digital startups, and everything in between.
Not marketing language. Specific, real advantages that IMS DIA Interior Design graduates have — and that show up in their careers.
Professional-grade spaces that mirror real design studio environments — because the best design education happens in places that feel like the real industry.
This is what students design and build at IMS DIA — in studios, for real briefs, with real materials and real craft. This is what your portfolio will look like before you graduate.

I came in after 12th with no idea that Interior Design could be this layered and intellectual. The material labs, the site visits to real construction projects and the furniture fabrication workshops — I was building real things from semester two. My final year thesis got noticed by an architecture firm in Delhi, and I joined them before graduation even ended.
The AutoCAD and BIM training at IMS DIA is genuinely professional-grade. By Year 3 I was producing working drawings that matched what I saw at my internship. The hospitality design studio was the highlight — we designed an actual hotel lobby concept with a real brief. I now work with a hospitality design studio in Gurugram and I credit that studio project entirely for getting me hired.
What makes DIA different is the depth. The philosophy of design — sustainability, heritage, human experience — it's woven into everything, not just one module. I studied Indian craft traditions alongside smart home technology in the same year. That combination is exactly why I could start my own studio six months after graduating. Parents wanted engineering. I chose design. Best decision of my life.
Every great interior starts with one decision. Seats for the 2026 B.Des Interior Design batch at IMS DIA are limited and fill quickly. Apply today — it's free, it's fast, and it could be the most important thing you do after 12th.
